Getting to know Melissa Pavlicek

I was born and raised in Central NY and joined the US Marines after graduating from MMCS High School in 1982. I joined the United States Marines in Feb of 1983 and spent the next 23 ½ years serving my country as a Marine. I served combat tours during the Liberation of Kuwait and during Iraqi Freedom. I met my husband while in the Marines and had 3 children together. I retired from the Marine Corps in 2006. I look forward to working with clients and exploring their struggles with PTSD; anxiety; depression; and other life challenges while engaging mindfulness and TF-CBT/CBT treatment modalities.
