Getting to know Melissa Shaw
As your therapist, I will meet you where you're at. I want to get to know you and understand your story, what your soul wants, and where you're trying to take yourself. I enjoy watching people step into empowerment. I see OCD as a continual sacrifice to the monster of our reality. What if we could befriend the monster and utilize imagination not just to survive but to flourish in our relationships and life's purpose? In my practice, I take an eclectic approach and utilize a variety of methods, including narrative, interpersonal, and strengths-based therapy as appropriate.
