Hi there, I'm Melissa! I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed approach with a focus on Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a systemic perspective. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I have experience supporting clients with trauma, LGBTQ+ identities, and a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and presenting concerns. My communication style Collaboration and viewing the client as the expert in their own life are key components of my therapy style. I work hard to create a judgment-free space where clients can explore whatever they identify as important to their healing journey. My journey to mental healthcare I find fulfillment in creating and holding space for people at their most vulnerable.
