What should a new client know about working with you?

Melissa believes in working collaboratively with her clients so the client can find their purpose and achieve their goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

New clients can book their intake session (90-minutes) through Zocdoc and opt for tele-health or in-person counseling sessions. Clients will receive a phone call prior to the intake session to have the opportunity to ask questions and share goals/needs for counseling services. This process is important for clients to feel safe and confident in the therapist they choose to work with. Once the intake session is competed, new clients typically start out with weekly 60-minute sessions to start. Frequency of counseling can always be re-evaluated once a strong therapeutic relationship has been established.
