Hi! My name is Mellissa! I am a mental health therapist who has experience working in multiple levels of care and with multiple populations. I have experience working with clients who have substance abuse challenges, anxiety, depression, OCD, and more. I use a collaborative approach to therapy to ensure that my clients feel welcome, understood, and heard in their therapeutic journeys! I have a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers, The University of New Jersey and a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have been in the mental health field since 2013 and am very passionate about working toward ending the stigma associated with mental health. Outside of my working hours, I enjoy spending time with my family, being at the beach, being outdoors, and exercising.
