TX
I’m Melodie Malone, a therapist passionate about helping people regulate emotions, improve communication, and stop repeating cycles that no longer serve them. Therapy with me is real, supportive, judgment-free, and solution-focused. I work with individuals of all ages who may be carrying heavy burdens and aren’t quite sure what to do with them. These challenges might come from childhood trauma, ongoing anxiety, or major life transitions that can gradually wear down self-esteem and confidence. In our work together, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll build a collaborative plan that is tailored to your unique needs. Plus, we make sure this plan is both measurable and achievable, so you can move toward lasting growth, healing, and a renewed sense of well-being/purpose!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I prioritize authenticity and create a safe, welcoming space built on open, nonjudgmental communication. I take time to truly listen to your story, honoring both the pain and joy you bring. Therapy with me is a place to express your full range of emotions. My goal is to meet you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, my priority is to create a sense of safety and comfort. We'll explore your story, your reasons for seeking therapy, and what you hope to gain. I'll also introduce you to how therapy works so you know what to expect. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the journey ahead. I take an integrative approach, drawing from Acceptance & Commitment, Narrative, and Solution-Focused therapy. I help clients reframe trauma stories, connect with their values, and take meaningful steps toward growth, supporting both where they are now and the life they want to create. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy.
