My name is Melonee Gibson-Cabrera, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC). I believe that therapy is more than addressing symptoms or receiving a diagnosis—it is an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize what you need, and learn how to navigate life in a healthier and more fulfilling way. My desire to help others began at a young age. Growing up, I participated in community service through my church, including supporting older adults and helping provide food and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. Those experiences strengthened my compassion for others and helped me recognize something that has remained central to my work today: simply living life can sometimes carry an incredible emotional weight. That understanding eventually led me to the counseling profession in 2005 and, in 2018, to opening my private practice in the greater Atlanta area.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
