My approach My therapeutic approach is integrative, incorporating various modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, a solution-focused approach, and a person-centered approach. My focus I work with individuals facing challenges such as life transitions, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, divorce, emotional regulation difficulties, stress and burnout, attachment issues, grief and loss, and eating disorders. In couple therapy, my main focus includes communication skills, trust issues, emotional connection, and conflict resolution. My communication style I prioritize fostering a safe, trusting, and open environment for my clients. I create a non-judgmental, empathetic, and collaborative space where they feel encouraged to express themselves. My journey to mental healthcare I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration in Israel and worked as an economist, but I didn't feel fulfilled. I moved to NYC to pursue drama studies, which was powerful and intriguing. I discovered the role of performing arts in healing, and at that point, my path became clear-I realized my true desire to help others. I pursued a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron and have practiced therapy for the last 15 years. My goals for you Goal setting is a space where clients feel inspired to set and own their goals while recognizing that goals might evolve. I help clients identify their challenges, strengths, and values. Using tools like SMART, I break goals into manageable steps, assess potential barriers, and continuously track clients' progress in achieving their goals.
