With a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance University, she combines empathy with practical, solution-focused strategies to empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with confidence, courageousness, and self-compassion. What should a new client know about working with you?
All life areas will be explored. You may come into the therapeutic relationship wanting to address only one thing. However, because all things are connected, I have come to learn that there is immense benefit when staying open to explore the many layers of life. We will look at formative relationships of family and venture all the way through your current daily life to identify themes, patterns, and goals for optimal transformation and healing.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Your comfort is key. Once we have established a relationship where safety and trust are present, then and only then will we begin to dig deep. I take our sessions at your pace, remaining nonjudgemental while I learn as much as I can about your self-concept and goals as I can. I will be honest, direct, encouraging, and supportive along the way while also holding you accountable to your goals and will challenge you to so that you can grow.
