3004 3rd St S, Jacksonville Beach, FL
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides outpatient therapy for adults seeking meaningful change, emotional regulation, and long-term healing. My approach is integrative, evidence-based, and experiential, blending traditional psychotherapy with advanced nervous-system–focused modalities. I specialize in EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, and performance blocks, as well as neurofeedback, vibroacoustic therapy (VAT), and SoundSelf immersive meditation to support regulation, insight, and resilience. I also incorporate elements of trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and values-driven work to help clients move beyond coping and into sustainable growth. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use recovery, life transitions, and high-stress environments. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and tailored to each client’s goals, with a strong emphasis on safety, empowerment, and measurable progress. My clinical style is direct yet compassionate. I aim to create a grounded, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported while also being gently challenged to reconnect with their strengths and capacity for change. If you’re looking for therapy that integrates neuroscience, experiential modalities, and practical tools for real-world change, I look forward to supporting your process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and tailored to your goals. Sessions are active and intentional rather than just open-ended conversation. We’ll work together to understand what’s getting in the way, build practical tools, and create meaningful, measurable change. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and trauma-focused CBT with nervous-system–focused approaches including mindfulness, somatic awareness, neurofeedback, vibroacoustic therapy, and immersive meditation experiences. This allows us to address both the cognitive and physiological aspects of stress, trauma, anxiety, and emotional patterns. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you’re met with honesty, compassion, and respect. I tend to be direct but warm, and I’ll offer feedback, guidance, and gentle challenge when it supports your growth. Therapy with me is not about being pushed faster than you’re ready, but it also isn’t passive. Sessions move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. We prioritize stabilization and coping skills before deeper trauma or EMDR work, ensuring you feel grounded and supported throughout the process. Progress is regularly reviewed so therapy stays aligned with what matters most to you. If you value a therapist who blends clinical expertise, experiential techniques, and practical tools—while keeping the work human and grounded—you’ll likely find this approach to be a good fit.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy begins with an initial session focused on understanding your concerns, goals, and relevant history. We discuss what brings you to therapy, prior treatment experiences, and create a personalized plan. EMDR therapy is often the primary modality, with other approaches used to support and enhance the work. Early sessions focus on stabilization and skill-building to support emotional regulation and readiness for EMDR. Not every session involves trauma processing, and pacing is always guided by safety and comfort. EMDR Therapy (Primary Approach) EMDR helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming. Bilateral stimulation may include eye movements, tapping, or audio tones. Trauma-Focused CBT Used to build insight, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and support behavior change between EMDR sessions. Neurofeedback A non-invasive modality using sensors placed on the scalp to support brain regulation, focus, and emotional balance. Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) Uses sound and gentle vibration delivered through specialized equipment to promote relaxation and nervous system regulation. SoundSelf Immersive Meditation A guided, technology-assisted meditation experience combining breath, sound, and visual feedback to support insight and integration. Mindfulness & Somatic Practices Body-based and grounding practices are woven throughout treatment to strengthen awareness and resilience. A typical session includes a brief check-in, focused therapeutic or experiential work, and time for reflection and integration. Progress is reviewed regularly to ensure therapy remains aligned with your goals.
