Getting to know Michael Carroll

As a therapist, I serve individuals spanning all ages, with the intent of helping each person to reach their desired goal for their own mental wellness and recovery. Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Anger Management, Behavioral Issues, Self Esteem, Stress, and Substance Abuse are just a few of the disorders that I have assisted many individuals and families with for the past 12 years. I completed my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Winston Salem State University. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and other non-traditional therapeutic approaches when needed to meet the needs of individuals and families in which I have the privilege of serving. I know it takes lots of courage to admit that you need assistance and taking the first step requires even more courage. Therefore, my goal is to treat you with all of the respect that you deserve.
