When life throws unexpected things your way, it can be incredibly helpful to have a counselor in your corner as an objective and non-judgmental ally. I believe in joining you in your experience, not as an expert in all things mental and emotional health, but as a collaborative partner in improving holistic health. Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping many people from all walks of life enhance their mental health, relationships, and manage substance use difficulties. Because no one approach is best for all, I offer a wide variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Substance Use Treatment, Person-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Existential Therapy, Career Counseling, and more. If you're interested in a stronger marriage, please ask me about my 6-week course for couples in pre-marital and early marital stages, focusing on improving communication, emotional connection, and important skills for a lifetime together. I specialize in working with PTSD and other trauma-related conditions, as well as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Depression, and other mental health disorders. I am certified in EMDR and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have held my Colorado LPC license for 9 years and have worked in community mental health agencies during that time. Currently, I serve as an Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant at Centura Health, Parker Adventist Hospital, in their Internal Medicine Department. While licensed for the last 9 years, I have worked in community mental health for over 19 years, and I get a particular thrill out of helping people strengthen themselves and aspects of their life. I work with adults of all ages, as well as adolescents ages 12 and up, and individuals from all cultures and backgrounds.
