Getting to know Michael Dutko

I have over 17 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children, and families. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of Substance Abuse Disorders, Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, and emotional regulation. I am trained in a variety of models, including CBT, DBT, CPT, Person-Centered Approaches, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and TF-CBT. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. I work with clients of all ages, as well as professional adults and military service members. I enjoy thinking "outside of the box" and implementing that in my sessions. I like exploring creative approaches and utilizing a variety of skills to help my clients. My goal is to assist you in developing healthy coping skills while building a strong therapeutic relationship. I have worked with people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders—including male, female, and non-binary—and various sexual orientations, young and old. I have always taken the approach that each person is unique; their issues are real, and I want to not only help them but truly hear them and their stories.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Unprofessional. Appointments are supposed to be 45 minutes but they are only 15-20 minutes, and does not say much. He forgets appointments and/or doesn’t log on, I would assume that as a professional you would have this locked in on your calendar. (FYI-supposed to meet weekly and has been about two months of this.) Won’t be wasting my time anymore.
