My name is Michael and I’m a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with experience working in an inpatient acute psychiatric setting as well as being a supervisor and therapist in an adolescent and adult mental health clinic. When it comes to treatment, I believe in focusing on the underlying cause and not solely on the presenting symptom, which allows me to work to get to the root of the behaviors being displayed. I take a very individualized approach when working with a person and their family and understand that one size does not fit all with regards to treatment modalities. I strive to meet the individual where he/she is at, and develop achievable goals with the ultimate focus being on improved quality of life and overall functioning.
