NY
As a mental health and wellness counselor, I offer a compassionate, grounded, and collaborative space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported! My work is rooted in the belief that healing begins when we are met with empathy, authenticity, and hope. My personal and professional journey informs my approach deeply. I know what it means to feel like the outsider, to carry unspoken pain, and to long for a place of safety and acceptance. Having overcome the challenges of addiction and having walked the long road toward personal growth and recovery, I understand that healing is not linear. Each person’s path is unique, sacred, and worthy of care! In our work together, you can expect a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, positive psychology, and narrative therapy, tailored to your needs, goals, and lived experiences. I view wellness as a holistic journey that involves emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity questions, addiction, or life transitions, I will commit to meeting you with curiosity, compassion, and skill. I hold a strong belief in the resilience of the human spirit! Together, we will work to uncover your strengths, rewrite limiting narratives, and build tools for lasting change. I honor the diversity of every individual and consider your cultural background, identity, and values as vital parts of our therapeutic relationship. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk with you through pain, growth, and transformation. Always at your pace, in your time.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide compassionate, individualized support to help clients navigate life’s challenges. Whether in one-on-one sessions, with couples, or in a family setting, my approach is tailored to your unique needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our sessions, you can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. You won’t be met with worksheets unless they’re helpful, and you won’t be pushed before you’re ready. Instead, we create a path that fits your goals and your pace. Together, we work to deepen insight, strengthen coping skills, and build the internal foundation needed to live more freely and authentically. I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating trauma, identity development, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, cultural and family-of-origin conflicts, and the complexities of self-worth and self-esteem. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I offer a safe, grounded space for clients exploring sexuality, identity, and belonging. I also have deep experience working with clients healing from strict or high-pressure cultural upbringings, adverse childhood experiences, grief, and long-standing emotional wounds. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person. I integrate CBT to help challenge unhelpful thoughts, mindfulness to strengthen emotional regulation, narrative work to reshape the stories that shape us, and solution-focused strategies to create meaningful, practical change. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, develop healthier patterns, and build a stronger sense of personal agency. Whether you’re looking to process trauma, gain clarity, improve daily functioning, navigate complex relationships, or rediscover your sense of self, therapy with me is designed to be a supportive, empowering, and transformative experience. Together, we work toward healing, insight, and sustainable growth one step at a time.
