Hi there! As a licensed clinical social worker at Stella Mental Health, I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and major life transitions. My background includes private practice, school-based work, medical settings, and hospital-based crisis care, which allows me to support clients across a wide range of needs and levels of acuity. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies like ACT, CBT, and DBT. I focus on helping you better understand your thoughts and emotions while building tools you can actually use in your daily life. When appropriate, we can also explore innovative treatment options like TMS or ketamine-assisted therapy as part of your care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we work together as a team. I value transparency and collaboration, and I’ll meet you where you are while also helping you move toward where you want to be. I place a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, so you’ll not only feel heard, but also gain a clearer understanding of how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. I also strive to create an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients and have a strong interest in supporting men to engage with their mental health in healthy, constructive ways.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We’ll start by building a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in—your experiences, current challenges, and goals. From there, we identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and begin introducing practical strategies to help you manage and improve those areas. Sessions are collaborative and balanced between reflection and skill-building. As we continue working together, we adjust the approach based on what’s most helpful so that therapy remains relevant, effective, and aligned with your goals.
