As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Michael earned a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and an Associate of Science in Business from Shorter University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Michael is the Founder and Executive Director of Fountain to Foster H.O.P.E., an in-home counseling service dedicated to assisting, encouraging, and uplifting families to achieve their fullest life or career potential.
With extensive experience as a Licensed Therapist, Michael has worked in various community-based settings and roles. He spent six years in social work at an inpatient hospital and, over the past six to seven years, has primarily served as a Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director. In these roles, he has supervised unlicensed staff, provided clinical oversight, and managed multiple programs.
Currently, Michael is the Clinical Director for a CORE agency, where he oversees a team of 40 to 50 field staff providing in-home counseling services. His responsibilities include supervising therapists, trainees, licensed clinicians, paraprofessionals, and certified peer specialists, ensuring quality care and professional development within the organization.
