Michael Koehler, LPCC

Psychotherapist
MN
"Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota with over 15 years of experience counseling. Most of my experience with clients has centered around issues related to depression, anxiety, behavioral dysregulation, attachment and relationship challenges as well as healthy boundaries and communication. I have extensive experience counseling parents of adopted children as well as working with youth with complex trauma and PTSD. My approach to therapy is highly person-centered, and inclusive of Gestalt, family systems and solution-focused elements. I truly believe each of us has the ability to find direction, balance and healing in our lives, we just need some guidance and an outside perspective at times to help get ""un-stuck"". I am also a big fan of strengths-based approaches utilizing the innate wisdom and resilience we possess. I seek to work collaboratively with my clients to develop timely and action-oriented treatment strategies to assist you in attaining the balance and restoration to live your fullest life."

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
