Hi! My name is Mike. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oklahoma and have been working as a therapist since 2017. Before becoming a licensed therapist, I worked as a behavioral rehabilitation specialist after graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. I also earned my MEd in School Counseling from the University of Oklahoma Tulsa. My approach I tend to draw a lot from person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches when working with patients during treatment. I also focus on strengths and solutions when helping. My focus My focus has traditionally been what the people I am working with are focused on. During my time in this field, I have had the opportunity to work with people handling many obstacles. My career has been spent alternating between both inpatient and outpatient settings, where I have been exposed to a wide variety of people experiencing many different difficulties in their lives. My communication style I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I want this to work for you and am flexible with my approach to meet your needs.
