Getting to know Michael Lydon

Now accepting new clients who feel ready for deep, lasting transformation. I specialize in helping purpose-driven professionals, creatives, and spiritual seekers who feel stuck, despite years of inner work. If you're navigating persistent anxiety, low self-worth, or unresolved trauma, I offer a direct, experiential path to resolution. My methods go beyond surface-level coping to target the root cause of your distress.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I’m Massachusetts' only Certified Advanced Practitioner in both Coherence Therapy and the Realization Process. These two powerful, complementary methods form the foundation of our work together. Coherence Therapy helps uncover and transform the emotional schemas driving your symptoms, while Realization Process offers a spiritually grounded, somatic pathway for resolving trauma and embodying your authentic Self. My training spans trauma therapy, spiritual psychotherapy, and experiential schema resolution.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin by identifying the core issue you'd most like to resolve—such as anxiety, low self-worth, trauma imprints (physical, emotional, or sexual), or wounding related to a narcissistic parent. Each session focuses on uncovering and transforming the unconscious material keeping these patterns in place. Chapter 21 of "Unlocking the Emotional Brain" (2nd Edition) by Bruce Ecker, Robin Ticic, and Laurel Hulley—a therapy textbook described by experts as “groundbreaking”—details how I helped my client “Jane” experience deep resolution of multiple threads of attachment trauma. These were rooted in her relationship with her narcissistic adoptive mother and had persisted despite years of prior therapy. I’ve helped many other clients experience similar breakthroughs—shifts that feel both profound and effortless to maintain. I invite you to schedule a no-risk consultation to explore whether this approach resonates with you.
