Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Michael, and I’m so glad you’re here. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, whether you’ve been thinking about it for a while or decided recently that you’re ready for change. My goal is to make our work together feel safe, supportive, and tailored to you, because no two people, and no two journeys, are exactly alike. My approach is what’s called eclectic, meaning I draw from different therapeutic styles to best fit your needs. From Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we might focus on noticing and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be getting in your way. From existential therapy, we might explore life’s deeper questions: your values, purpose, and what gives meaning to your experiences. And from solution-focused therapy, we’ll identify your strengths and create practical, achievable steps to help you move toward your goals. You don’t need to know which approach will “work best” right now, that’s my job to help figure out as we get to know each other. What matters most is that you feel heard, understood, and respected in our conversations. I see therapy as a collaborative process. Sometimes it’s about exploring past experiences to better understand how they shape your present. Other times, it’s about focusing on what’s happening right now and building strategies to make tomorrow feel a little lighter. Wherever you are on your path, I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, perspective, and encouragement. If you’re ready, we’ll take the first steps together, one conversation at a time.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
