I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida since 2009 and have been in the mental health field since 2006. I earned my Bachelor's degree and Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida. I have worked with a wide range of clientele, from individuals with severe and chronic mental illness to suicidal adolescents and inmates facing life sentences. I want to share a little story about myself. In 2015, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and treated with chemotherapy. In 2017, I was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia, which I learned was a side effect of the initial chemotherapy. I spent a month in the hospital and realized I needed a new approach. That's when I began my journey into naturalistic healing through food, herbs, and lifestyle changes.
