Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the experiences that have shaped who you are. You may find yourself repeating patterns that are difficult to change, struggling to make sense of your emotions, or feeling disconnected from the life you want to lead. I believe meaningful change begins with curiosity, self-understanding, and a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable exploring even the most challenging aspects of your experience. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which emphasizes understanding how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the present. Rather than focusing exclusively on symptoms, I am interested in exploring the underlying experiences and emotional dynamics that may contribute to your difficulties. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of these patterns, identify opportunities for growth, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I view therapy as a collaborative process. My goal is to create a thoughtful, supportive environment where you can speak openly, explore difficult emotions, and develop greater awareness of yourself and your relationships. I recognize that each person's experiences and goals are different, and I tailor our work to what feels most important to you. I earned my Master of Social Work from Portland State University and hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco. My clinical training included providing psychotherapy, conducting comprehensive assessments, and collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans. Alongside my clinical experience, I have spent several years working in behavioral healthcare leadership, giving me a broader perspective on the importance of accessible, thoughtful, and individualized mental health care. Whether you are seeking to better understand yourself, navigate difficult relationships, or exp

What should a new client know about working with you?

When was the last time you felt truly free to say what you were thinking and feeling? So much of life involves filtering ourselves for people around us. That can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and caught in cycles of anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship struggles. Therapy can be a safe place where you can simply show up as you are, speak honestly, and begin to understand what’s been holding you back. Using my practice's collaborative LifeMaps framework, we’ll explore how your experiences and relationships have shaped the way you navigate the world today.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I bring a deep appreciation for how identity, family, culture, and expectations of belonging shape who we are today. My goal is to create a space where you are safe to explore the uncomfortable and examine the forces shaping your choices. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which values the full complexity of a person rather than focusing only on symptoms. This kind of work can be challenging, but it often brings lasting change. As insight grows, you begin to understand yourself more deeply and move through the world with a greater sense of choice and agency.
