What should a new client know about working with you?

In the session, I will always engage with you with compassion and empathy, allow me to work with you and assist you in making these challenges you face in life more manageable. Within our time together we will work to create a place for you to cope and address many of the reasons you are in this place. Addressing specifically thoughts and past behaviors, through the use of EMDR I will assist you in gaining insight and developing insight and healthier relationships within your life with not only others but yourself. I will not judge you, my goal is to help you heal and come to a place where you can experience healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Using multiple approaches, we will find what works for you as the person seeking therapy, together we will find new skills to address those everyday concerns and focus on healing from the past. Tools such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, as well as several others to find what works for you as the client after all this is your journey and I want to partner with you on this. Upon request we can explore therapy from a Christian Integrative standpoint where we can address thoughts and feelings associated with your Christian beliefs and values.
