Psychotherapist
ME
Hello! I am glad you have taken a step to better your mental health! I am primarily working with Adults at this time, but will work with children 14+. I use goal-oriented therapy that involves the individual in every step of the process. The modalities of therapy I use, are evidence-based (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.), which aim to decrease interfering thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as increase happiness and success in life. We will also work together in a holistic manner to insure we are addressing all aspects of your life that could affect mental health! I often work with individuals that are struggling with Eating Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Intimate relationship issues, Sexual issues, and Autism. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and use this often in practice. I know that it can be hard to even take this first step, so know that even this is an accomplishment! Please reach out any way you feel comfortable. Even if we are not the right fit or I can't help you at that time, I will try and get you to the place that works best for you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a solution-oriented and goal-oriented therapist who wants to help you get to where you want to be. I am laid back and hopefully will make you feel comfortable during our sessions. I want this to be a partnership where we are focused on achieving your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will be an intake session where I will ask you questions and get your history and to know you as well. Then we will create a treatment plan with the goals that you are looking to achieve.
