Outside of his work, Michael enjoys gardening, playing guitar, and spending quality time with his wife and children. A lover of philosophy and reflection, one of his favorite books is Siddhartha. Michael’s dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment ensures that every client feels secure and valued as they engage in the therapeutic process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a compassionate, direct, and collaborative approach to treatment. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are—without judgment—and creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and supported. My work is rooted in both professional experience and personal recovery, which allows me to connect deeply with individuals navigating addiction, mental health challenges, and co-occurring disorders. I focus on helping clients build practical coping tools, emotional resilience, and long-term stability. I provide care both in person and through secure virtual sessions, offering flexibility while maintaining a high level of clinical support and accountability.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment to understand each client’s history, current challenges, strengths, and goals. From there, we collaborate on an individualized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. Depending on the appropriate level of care, clients may participate in Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), or outpatient services. Sessions may include individual therapy, group therapy, family involvement, and evidence-based interventions designed to address both substance use and underlying mental health concerns. Throughout the process, I prioritize measurable progress, consistent communication, and ongoing plan adjustments to ensure clients are moving toward sustainable recovery. Both in-person and virtual treatment options are available to ensure accessibility and continuity of care.

You are not booking a therapy appointment with this provider. There is a receptionist women who tries to get you to sign up for a several week course. Very misleading. This option to book with him should not be available on this site.
