Hello and welcome. My name is Michaelle Desruisseaux, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree from Kean University. Are you emotionally tired and just feel stuck? Life can get overwhelming, so I commend you on taking this courageous step toward feeling better. My goal as your therapist is to join forces with you to develop new strategies and skills to help you cope with life stressors. I have over 15 years of experience working with teens, adults, and the elderly. I am passionate about supporting people who struggle with depression, anxiety, anger management, low self-esteem/self-image, and grief.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is compassionate and supportive. I believe in a person-centered based perspective to empower each client within their individual needs. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goal is to help clients feel better in the midst of their stressful experiences. My therapeutic style has been known to empower individuals to reach their full potential mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
