Hello and welcome. My name is Michaelle Desruisseaux, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. Are you emotionally tired and just feel stuck? Life can get overwhelming, so I commend you on taking this courageous step toward feeling better. My goal as your therapist is to join forces with you to develop new strategies and skills to help you cope with life stressors. I have over 15 years of experience working with teens, adults, and the elderly. I am passionate about supporting people who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Low Self Esteem/Self Image, and Grief.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach is compassionate and supportive. I believe in a person-centered based perspective to empower each client within their individual needs. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
My goal is to help clients feel better in the midst of their stressful experiences. My therapeutic style has been known to empower individuals to reach their full potential mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
