Make today the day you reach out for help. No problem is too big or too small to work on if it's causing you distress. I have success working with clients who are anxious, losing sleep, worrying, feeling depressed, grieving, overthinking, experiencing problems in their relationships, and using substances, food, shopping, or other unhealthy ways of coping. It's so easy to slip into unhealthy habits, especially if we don't know healthier ways to manage life's stressors. Many of us have been told to “just try harder” or to “pull ourselves up by our bootstraps” and ultimately feel defeated when these strategies don't work. The good news is your mind and body are created to be in balance, healthy, and joyful. In my practice, I help clients realize their full potential by developing the tools and skills necessary to cope with life's adversities. Clients finally feel in control of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors-sometimes for the first time in their lives. I'm passionate about the well-being of my clients, and for 18 years I've been helping them on their path to wellness. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Loyola University Maryland and use an integrative, CBT approach to therapy. I help clients live their best lives and feel empowered to handle whatever comes their way. Let today be the day that you reach out and begin your journey to wellness. I see clients in NC, SC, FL, and VT.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience. You, the client, choose the path we go down. Sometimes my role is to listen and support. Other times, I may be more direct; teaching you new skills and helping you practice them. Having a safe space to talk about and process your thoughts and feelings can be extremely therapeutic. In addition to providing this space, we will work on the "Now What?"...developing the skills and confidence needed to step on the path to a happier, healthier You! ?

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
