Getting to know Michele Suarez
Finding a therapist that fits your needs and personality is an important part of your healing and ability to grow. Though not every therapist is a perfect fit, I work hard to meet you where you are by being patient to listen to your story. This in addition to your commitment will help us give you the tools you need. I'm excited to join you as you take these next steps.
Michele is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, as well as an LPC in the state of New Jersey. She holds a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Counseling and an Advanced Specialization in Counseling Certificate from Cairn University. She holds years of experience working in the counseling field.
Michele has experience working with clients in a range of ages. Her experience and training includes those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and perfectionism. She is also passionate about helping those grow toward a healthy attachment style and heal in their relationships with others.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I'm teamed with a company called Headway that takes insurance. I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work so that I can place all of my focus on our work together. Headway also manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you. When you schedule with me I will reach out to you to get set up before we meet!

I also accept out-of-pocket clients! I can offer a sliding scale, and provide you with a superbill for you to send to your insurance company to be reimbursed! This all depends on what your Out-Of-Network benefits are.

I have walked through various different seasons of life with this counselor over the years and although she personally may not be able to empathize with every situation, she provided tools and a listening ear when I needed them most.

Michele has been incredibly helpful in my healing journey. In the duration of my time in her practice, I have experienced major life changing events and have had an immense amount of grief to process. She is great at holding space, being a listening ear, and providing encouragement. She prioritizes self-talk and the way that we see ourselves. This is a huge area of growth for me, mostly due to what I have gone through, but she continues to help me grow in this area. She is patient and kind, and she is willing to take a step back if you feel uncomfortable about what she is asking you to do or talk about. She holds herself accountable and makes sure you feel safe and comfortable. She is really an incredible therapist and I would highly recommend her!
