Psychotherapist

There are many challenges in the process of growing up, including navigating school life, dealing with new emotions, discovering who you are, and planning for the future. There’s also the challenge of being a parent—managing your own needs while your child goes through these stages. Having support in times of need is critical. Bullying, anxiety, depression, relationship skills, understanding self-identity, high school/college/career planning, IEP/504s, parenting support—these can all be difficult topics, and this is where I specialize. I work with individuals in school (elementary through college) and parents throughout this journey, and I look forward to supporting you. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s degree from William & Mary, which have equipped me to provide compassionate and informed care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a client-centered therapist, so I will tailor our sessions to meet you where you are at and your needs. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches to give you a safe space to delve into what is happening presently in your life and begin approaching desired changes and goal realization.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients in the state of Florida via Telehealth. On your first session, we will do an intake together to get a better understanding of what brings you to therapy and your goals for treatment. All other sessions are client-centered, so we can focus on what is going on for you in the present, while we also continue to monitor and work toward achieving those goals.
