Michelle has been a constant source of guidance and support. Always timely with advice and never telling me what to do but listened and gently nudged me to see things differently. She's challenged me, told me where I have may be at fault, and always respected what I've had to say. I felt seen/heard/understood. As a part of the LGBT community and a person of faith, I have appreciated her background in dealing with both worlds
Michelle is very insightful and always takes the time to listen. As a newer therapist, my confidence is building with clients along with knowledge about various clinical diagnoses. Michelle’s knowledge on mental health and her support have been invaluable throughout my time as her supervisee. An excellent clinical supervisor.
Michelle is absolutely wonderful! Last year was the hardest year of my life and I experienced a very traumatic loss - she helped me every step of the way to get back to a stable mentality and be able to live my life to its fullest. She is an amazing support system, has a gentle and calming presence, and it’s so easy to open up in our sessions and get things off my chest. She has been supremely helpful in just about every way, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone and everyone who’s thinking about starting therapy.
I've had a wonderful experience with Michelle during our sessions. She has an excellent ability to gauge my needs from appointment to appointment. If I need to talk things through, she lets me guide the session. When I’m unsure of what to focus on, she steps in with thoughtful guidance and asks insightful questions. I always feel comfortable with Michelle, and she creates a very non-judgmental, safe space.
Michelle helped me (in just one year!) focus on myself rather than all of the distractions I was focusing on. I went from severe panic attacks to being able to use the tools she gave me to advocate for my own needs, wants, and self-care in a positive and healthy way. My journey has helped all of my family and friends in a variety of ways and I have recommended her to so many I meet. There is still room to grow and so I am keeping Michelle with me for the ride; knowing I have someone who connects, listens, and gives me the resources I need! I can’t thank her enough.
Michelle is an incredible therapist. She is kind and caring. She has provided me with great insight into my situation in a very gentle way. She always starts appointments on time and is very easy to schedule with. I highly recommend Michelle!
I have been working with Michelle for some time now, and I always look forward to her time with me. She is gentle and caring, something that helps me, life can be overwhelming at times. I can't recommend her more, she is a true professional.
I’ve struggled through the years to find a good therapist until I met Michelle. My experience was amazing and every week I look forward to meeting with her. She provides a safe space to be open and honest and I was able to work through some big things in life. It was so comforting to know I had someone who was there to listen and give advice. As I worked through with her, I was excited to tell her the things I had been working on and proud of where I am today because of her.
Michelle has been so helpful with me setting boundaries and has helped me better my relationships with others. My anxiety has lessened and I feel like I can take control of my life!
My sessions with Michelle Ferris have been helpful and i have found new ways to manage my anxiety. I would recommend seeing her for your therapy needs. She is very kind and professional and does a good job navigating the sessions.
