What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and supportive experience. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore what they’re going through while also gaining practical tools to move forward. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I often integrate discussions about overall wellness, including stress management, lifestyle habits, and self-compassion, because mental health is deeply connected to how we care for our whole selves. Clients can expect me to be thoughtful, honest, and engaged in the process. I believe therapy should not only provide insight but also help you build real strategies to manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, improve relationships, and feel more confident in your decisions. My goal is to help you feel understood while empowering you with the clarity and skills needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. In our first few sessions, we will explore your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and the goals you hope to achieve through counseling. This helps us create a plan that feels meaningful and personalized to your needs. During ongoing sessions, we typically talk through situations or patterns that are affecting your well-being and work together to identify practical strategies you can use outside of therapy. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sessions are conversational, supportive, and solution-focused. My goal is to help you gain insight, build coping skills, and feel more confident navigating challenges in your daily life.
