I utilize various therapeutic modalities, which include Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Based on your unique needs, I may adapt my approach to include practices like mindfulness and medication. Ultimately, in this space, I want the client to explore their emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and the root of them. My focus I thrive on helping young adults, BIPOC, women, and couples who are navigating life's challenges, transitions, and emotions. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, self-esteem, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create steps toward goals that feel empowering and achievable. Also, I am affected by life events. I have experienced challenges in relationships, finances, and career, too. This can sometimes mean laughing together or crying together. I don't hide who I am, but I am always mindful of the boundaries in my role as a therapist. My communication style I am very open-minded, non-judgmental, yet you can expect direct, open communication from me. I practice active listening and will provide you opportunities to reflect on your experiences.
