I earned my undergraduate Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in Arlington, my Master of Science Degree in School Counseling from Amberton University, and my Advanced Certificate in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I completed my Ph.D. in Professional Counseling at Amridge University. I have worked in social services, child protective services, public education, and community mental health. I believe that my years of experience with varied populations have increased my appreciation of the human experience. My specializations include family relationships, grief and bereavement, multicultural and diversity issues, intimate and romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
