Michelle Ingrosso, LMHC

Psychotherapist
4770 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL
I am a licensed therapist working with adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck—often despite being capable, motivated, and successful on the outside. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals, parents, or individuals navigating major life transitions who are seeking clarity, emotional balance, and more sustainable ways of coping. I bring a thoughtful, collaborative approach to therapy that blends evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of how stress, perfectionism, and self-pressure impact mental health. Having trained and worked both in the U.S. and internationally, I value cultural awareness and nuance, and I tailor therapy to each client’s unique background and goals. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and challenged in a way that leads to meaningful, lasting change.

Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals, parents, or individuals navigating major life transitions who are seeking clarity, emotional balance, and more sustainable ways of coping. What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe working with me as grounding, practical, and insight-oriented. I offer a warm, non-judgmental environment while also being active and engaged in sessions. This means I will ask thoughtful questions, reflect patterns I notice, and help you connect the dots between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative. We will move at a pace that feels safe but purposeful, focusing not only on symptom relief but also on building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in your ability to handle life’s challenges. I aim to help clients feel more empowered, less reactive, and more aligned with their values.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session focuses on understanding what brings you to therapy, your current stressors, and what you hope to get out of our work together. We’ll also review relevant background information and begin identifying patterns that may be contributing to your concerns. Ongoing sessions are typically structured but flexible. We may explore current situations, emotions, and relationships while also developing practical tools for managing anxiety, stress, or mood. Depending on your needs, sessions may include skill-building, reflection, and insight-based work. Throughout the process, we regularly check in on progress and adjust goals as needed. Therapy is a dynamic process, and my aim is for each session to feel intentional, supportive, and useful.
