Getting to know Michelle Jimenez
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University and 17 years of experience working with individuals and families. I have helped people with a wide range of concerns, including posttraumatic stress disorder, childhood traumas, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, relationship and family challenges, stage of life transitions, the pain of recovering after a divorce, decision-making, and problem-solving. My experience also includes working with incarcerated youth from the hard streets of Miami. Additionally, I have guided many women and men through the difficult process of divorce, supporting them as they heal and rebuild their lives.
What should a new client know about working with you?
All human beings have emotions. Emotions like sadness, anger, confusion, fear, guilt. Some emotions are hard to understand sometimes when we are going through different seasons of our life. Taking the first step and realizing you may need to talk to a therapist, to guide you through these challenging times, is a positive choice in the right direction. I am here to provide a safe, and supportive place for you to become healthier and more aware of how to handle your current issues.
