“As an anxiety-riddled, rage-prone, middle-aged woman, I have definitely left a long trail of mediocre therapists in my wake. But after a year (and counting) with Michelle King, I can say with authority that this woman has changed my life in ways I can neither measure nor articulate. But I’m going to try. Michelle has taught me that therapy is first and foremost a mutual conversation. It’s a relationship based on honesty, curiosity and reciprocity. Both parties have to be candid and inquisitive. Michelle hears me. She listens with intent. She asks provocative questions. And she offers prolific feedback. She has helped me reshape the way I think about myself, and in doing so, has helped me improve my relationships with every person in my life. She is incredibly insightful and has an intellectual acuity that enables her to zero in on exactly what you’re saying or more importantly, what you’re *not* saying. She gently coaxes words and emotions out of you in a way that makes you feel safe, heard and even relieved. After a year in her care, I feel stronger and happier. I am without a doubt, the very best version of myself and I feel a sense of calm I didn’t know was possible. If you’re reading this because you’re searching for a therapist, take advantage of my psychiatric promiscuity and save yourself some time - you’ve found the right one.”

Michelle is so easy to talk to and a fantastic listener. She's been a tremendous help when it comes to navigating my anxiety and I'd definitely recommend her.
My husband and I have been seeing Michelle since the birth of our first daughter earlier this year. Michelle’s observations and guidance were imperative in enabling us to better communicate and empathize with one another during such a stressful time in our marriage. We continue to work with Michelle regularly and I’m always impressed with her kind bedside manner and professionalism.
I’ve been seeing Michelle for several months now; she has been instrumental in helping me work through anxiety, grief, and the day-to-day challenges I’ve been facing. She is very warm and personable, easy to talk to. I would highly recommend.
