My practice is oriented around a strength-based, person-centered approach. The interventions I use include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Restorative Practices, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and Play Therapy. I provide strategies for a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, independent living skills, parenting skills, coping skills, and emotional regulation. I have experience providing crisis response, in-home safety planning, and utilizing the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) along with the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9). Much of my work has focused on supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, independent living skills, parenting challenges, emotional regulation, and child behavioral concerns. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. With eight years of experience in the mental health field, I have served children, adults, and families through individual, family, and group counseling settings. I am dedicated to identifying the strengths and unique gifts of every individual to help you reach your personal goals in therapy and beyond.
