Getting to know Michelle Lee Piesbergen

My name is Michelle Piesbergen and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I have 7 years of experience working with mental health and substance abuse treatment. I graduated in 2016 from Argosy University with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also a Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida for those looking to obtain their license. I believe that you have most of the tools that you already need to work through any concerns that arise, but am here to help every step of the way. I believe that it is important to have unconditional support in order to achieve goals and be successful in life. It is also important to be open to change and to be able to acknowledge strengths during therapy, which is something that I will assist in accomplishing. It is important that the client have a safe place to make positive change and to be able to express their feelings openly.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am hopeful that clients will be able to feel more comfortable and begin to open up about their concerns and stressors as we go through therapy. I am hopeful that clients will obtain the validation that they need and will learn skills to be able to manage their lives more successfully.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
