UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My experience working with individuals and couples has helped me become proficient in a variety of therapeutic styles and approaches. Most importantly, I believe that as a therapist, you have to meet clients where they are, assist them in setting realistic goals, and work with them while providing education, empathy, and support. Clients who work with me can expect to learn communication techniques, grounding skills, ways to increase motivation, and work toward the goals they set at our first session. Therapy can only be as helpful as the client allows, based on what they take away from each session and what they then choose to use each day in their life. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree from Lourdes University, which have both shaped my approach to therapy and commitment to client-centered care.
