"Michelle Marion Rhodes, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She obtained Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Rhodes completed an internship in Clinical Psychology at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Department of Behavioral Science. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she is trained as a scientist-practitioner with experience providing empirically-validated treatments. Her theoretical orientation is primarily cognitive-behavioral. She has experience providing specialized services to persons who are post-bariatric surgery and who are experiencing chronic pain and health challenges. She is also well-versed in providing services to members of ethnic minority groups. When she is not working, she enjoys time with family and reading."
