Getting to know Michelle Savage

I specialize in supporting partnered women and couples navigating infertility, chronic illness, and the emotional strain these challenges can place on a relationship. Trying to conceive while managing medical stress, loss, or uncertainty can feel overwhelming and isolating—and it often impacts communication, intimacy, and connection at home. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as you move through this season together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With over 18 years of clinical experience, I provide infertility counseling, reproductive and perinatal mental health support, and couples therapy using evidence-based, relationship-focused approaches such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Therapy. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical—we identify emotional triggers, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and create clear tools you can use between sessions. For self-pay clients, Individual sessions are priced at $150 and for Couples offered at $200.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

New clients can expect a warm, structured, and nonjudgmental space. Our first sessions focus on understanding your story, current stressors, and goals. From there, we develop a personalized plan that helps you feel more connected as a couple, more confident in managing anxiety or grief, and better equipped to pursue fertility treatment or natural conception without feeling overwhelmed. I offer services in both English and Spanish and welcome adults, women, and couples seeking compassionate, specialized care. I look forward to supporting you.

I had the privilege of having Michelle as my registered intern supervisor while J was pursuing my license and she truly made my experience as an intern a wonderful one! She was always resourceful, ethical, professional and very knowledgeable. Its been over 4 years since, and even though she is no longer my supervisor, she continues to be supportive of my career and available for any questions I might have. Thank you, Michelle!
