Getting to know Michelle Sepulveda

Do you often feel like life is throwing you curveball after curveball? Like daily stressors are leaving you exhausted and overwhelmed? Anxiety? Depression? Irritability? Difficulty organizing yourself or losing focus? Past trauma? The fact that you are reading this means you are taking a major step to get yourself help, and I admire that. I have over 12 years of experience as a therapist, and my goal is to meet you where you are in the present moment and provide a safe, accepting, and supportive environment to develop skills that promote healing and growth. Together, we will work on identifying your needs and using your strengths to develop a healthy balance and happiness in life. I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and extensive experience working with teens, adults, and the elderly. I provide individual, couple, and family therapy. I work well with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. I also support women's issues, parenting difficulties, school challenges, work problems, relationship issues, substance abuse/recovery, family functioning, and trauma. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our initial few sessions, we will work on identifying your needs and goals as well as getting to know each other's communication styles. As the writer of you own story, you will take the lead in your therapeutic journey as I challenge you to restructure maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. We will learn to use your strengths to create lasting solutions to the obstacles hindering your growth.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

She's good for me. I can connect with her and still be true to myself.
She makes you feel like u belong, she's such a great therapist
This was my first experience with a therapist who spent a considerable amount of time talking during the session, often sharing her own personal experiences. While she was kind and had a casual approach, I personally didn’t find this style to be a good fit for my needs.

Michelle has made my sessions comfortable and less “therapy” feeling. It feels like a space where I can be myself and not feel like I am being judged.
Michelle has been amazing. It often feels like I’m talking to someone I’ve known for a long time, without the worry of judgement. She is solution-oriented, asks good questions to explore thoughts, feelings, and circumstances which helps me to better understand myself. She has a warm and friendly personality that makes it easy to connect with her. I’ve really appreciate her ability to make me feel seen and heard while helping me to be accountable to improve the things I was hoping to resolve.
Michelle never fails to make me feel like I have a safe space to speak my mind and be myself. You can tell when someone is looking at you with eyes absent of judgement. Great therapist!
She is very friendly and understanding. Willing to look at things from your point of view but willing to give you that different perspective you need to hear.
Great bedside manner, no judgment when getting into more sensitive topics, can relate very well to ADHD topics and help deal with them. Understands that everyone is different so tries to find a way to help rather than forcing what’s worked for her or others on you.
