Psychotherapist

If you’re living with PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), childhood trauma, attachment wounds, or anxiety, understanding your experiences is important, but insight alone doesn’t always create lasting change. Therapy can help you process what you’ve been through so it has less impact on how you feel, relate to others, and move through daily life. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut and Colorado, specializing in trauma and anxiety. I work with people who are struggling with the effects of trauma and want support feeling safer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves and their lives. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuinely human. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, take your time, and not worry about saying everything perfectly. I use EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy to support trauma processing and deeper healing rather than simply talking about what happened. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical all the time. I’m a real person, not a robot, and I value humor, curiosity, and being able to laugh when it feels appropriate. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened or becoming someone different. It means feeling safer in yourself, having more freedom from the past, and feeling more connected to the life you’re living now. If you’re ready to work through the past and feel more like yourself again, therapy can help.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and genuinely human. You don’t have to have the right words, tell your story perfectly, or have everything figured out. We’ll work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, while encouraging growth. I’m direct, compassionate, and believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling overly clinical. I’m not a robot, and I value humor, honesty, and real connection when they fit. Together, we’ll find an approach that works for you and supports meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to what you need that day. We’ll check in, identify what feels most important, and work together toward your goals. Depending on your needs, sessions may include conversation, skill-building, processing past experiences, or trauma-focused work such as EMDR, Brainspotting, or IFS-informed therapy. There’s no script and no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We’ll go at a pace that feels safe while still working toward meaningful change.
