Hello, I'm Michelle. I completed my bachelor's degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin in 2003, and my Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. With over two decades of experience in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including inpatient, residential, and community-based mental health. My passion lies in serving individuals and families living with serious mental illness and complex trauma, as well as supporting those experiencing significant life changes such as homelessness, and veterans and military families. As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe in drawing on your strengths to help you make meaning, gain insight, and enrich connections for a fuller and more meaningful experience. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from cognitive behavioral, relational, and interpersonal frameworks to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. I am committed to finding creative solutions to life's challenges alongside you, and I look forward to embarking on this journey together. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, family relationships, grief, life transitions, medical issues, military-related concerns, narcissistic personality disorder, PTSD, intimate relationships, psychosis, somatic symptom disorder, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, or trauma, I am here to support you. Outside of my professional life, I value the importance of connection and understanding, and I strive to bring empathy and compassion into every session. Let's work together to navigate your path to healing and growth. I look forward to meeting you and exploring how we can achieve your goals together.
