Mikayla Gmitter, LMSW

Psychotherapist
1608 Tree Ln A, Ste 100, Snellville, GA
As a provisionally licensed Therapist, (LMSW), my focus is to create a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. I work with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, eating disorders, and gender identity concerns. I believe therapy should be collaborative and individualized, giving each client space to explore their experiences, identity, strengths, and goals while developing practical tools for meaningful growth. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and holistic. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, mindfulness, and somatic and yoga-informed practices to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences. I strive to help clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping and emotional regulation skills, develop self-compassion, and feel more connected to themselves and the life they want to create. I am under the clinical supervision of Michael Frech-LCSW
