Hi! I’m Mikayla Greenway, a licensed associate counselor in NJ. I work with adults, teens and couples navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety and low self-esteem. I believe that therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood and supported as you work toward healing and meaningful change. Together, we’ll identify goals for your process and move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you want to build self-awareness and insight, or already recognize patterns that you feel stuck in, I'll meet you where you are at. What should a new client know about working with you?

I tend to implement a blend of Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic approaches, and some Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) interventions. My focus is on "bottom-up" healing-supporting the nervous system and addressing deeper, unresolved experiences- while also building practical skills for lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting therapy for the first time, or trying to find the right therapist for you can feel intimidating or overwhelming. I strive to offer a warm and casual space to help you feel comfortable. The initial intake consists of rapport building, basic information gathering and creating treatment goals. From there, we work together to best decide the course of action for your treatment. When you're ready, I invite you to schedule a quick 15-minute consult with me.
