Hi, I'm Mindy. If you feel like depression, anxiety or chronic pain have taken over your life, you are not alone and you don't have to walk this path alone. My passion lies in helping you understand and find relief from your depression, anxiety or chronic pain. My approach to therapy is based in providing scientifically proven strategies to help you reduce your symptoms, and provide you support and a listening ear. I believe in working closely with you to find the resources and strategies that suit your personality and specific experiences. Together, we can explore how you got to this point and create a plan to help you move forward to a better place. I use a variety of strategies in my practice to help you meet your goals. For my clients struggling with chronic pain, I start with the Empowered Relief class created by Stanford University to help you start reducing your pain after only 2 sessions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts are having a negative impact on you, and how you can turn that negative spiral into positive motion. I use Polyvagal Theory to help you regulate, rewire, and rebalance your nervous system so you can find some relief from the stress and anxiety. I use Transforming the Living Legacy of Trauma workbook, The Complex PTSD Workbook, or the EMDR for Trauma workbook to help you navigate the healing journey after a traumatic experience. I will work with you to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals. As a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, trained in EMDR, and a Certified Empowered Relief provider, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to our sessions. I am committed to supporting you on your journey to better health and well-being. If you're ready to take the next step towards managing your pain, anxiety, or depression, I'm here to help. Let's work together to find the strategies that will work for you.
