Howdy! My name is Michelle, and I'm a licensed professional counselor in Texas. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas A&M University and completed my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of St. Thomas. I have a background working in residential treatment facilities with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I take a person-centered approach with my clients and believe that everyone deserves respect and a safe place to explore and grow as individuals. I firmly believe that people must first accept where they are in order to create change. I also incorporate both CBT and DBT skills in my practice with clients.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My clients can expect a warm casual approach during their first session. We will get to know each other and work to build a safe place. I will seek to understand you as a whole and take the time to answer questions you may have. Together as a team we will create goals and figure the best path forward to meet them.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
